The village St-Julien has been in existence since the beginning of the Middle Ages. (the church was first mentioned in 1143). At the foundation of the diocese of Sarlat in 1317 the village of St-Julien de Lampon stayed under the protection of the diocese of Cahors. Only during the French Revolution the village was integrated into the Department of the Dordogne. |
